Tudor is a high-yielding medium maturing yellow pea. Impressive yields are more probable in eastern environments. Tudor has good standability. It has resistance to Powdery Mildew, but is somewhat susceptible to Mycosphaerella Blight (translation – responds to foliar fungicides). Seed size is large and quality is average to above average. There are some end-users demanding a larger seed size; and for those markets Tudor is the perfect fit (most other large-seeded varieties that are available either do not yield as well or do not have the smooth & round seed like Tudor does).
