Noble is the newest yellow pea in our offering. Relative to DS-Admiral, Noble is similar in maturity, seed size, and standability. At first blush, it appears that Noble has signifi cantly greater yield potential than DS-Admiral, but is not nearly as broadly adapted or as consistent (DS-Admiral wins on the average). Seed quality is acceptable. For eastern producers with DSAdmirals in the bin, we would highly encourage you to try some Noble for a comparison. For
western producers, stick with DS-Admiral or SW Midas until we’ve garnered greater experience with this new pea.
