Of the consistent food-grade quality greens on the market today, Arcadia has the highest yield potential. This is somewhat unexpected as it is relatively early in maturity and quite small-seeded (often times smaller than Cruiser). It does have decent bleach tolerance and dark green cotyledons. Market acceptance is very good where there are no sensitivities to small seed size. Adaptation should be broad, even though agronomics are only average. As Arcadia was released only recently (2009), seed supplies are only now catching up to the demand for this exciting new variety.
