A small-seeded, semi-leafless variety with improved powdery mildew resistance. In multi-year field testing, it has shown to be a good standing, medium maturing green pea variety. K2 offers bleach tolerance and high food quality in an upright green pea with improved yield potential over Cruiser. K2 moves east into higher yielding environments better than Cruiser, and west into lower yielding environments better than CDC Striker. With year to year oscillations in moisture and temperature patterns, K2 has been identified as one of the few green varieties that you can count on to perform satisfactorily. |
