Unauthorized Propagation Prohibited – PVPA 1994 – U.S. Protected Variety

Bleach tolerance and high food quality have given this pea industry-wide renown. This low bleach, smooth, round pea with small dark green cotyledons have made Cruiser the standard for split green peas in the world market. As it is usually “requested by name”, processors often are willing to pay premiums for Cruisers over other green varieties. It's also farmer friendly with its small, very tough seed; but is only average in harvestability and height. In low rainfall areas (MT and SW ND ) Cruiser has proven to be very competitive making it a farmer favorite in those geographies as well.

Advantages
