CDC Redberry Small Red Lentil

Information

Unauthorized Propagation Prohibited – PVPA 1994 – U.S. Protected Variety

To be sold by variety name only as a class of certified seed.

CDC Redberry is the largest-seeded of the “small red” varieties of lentils that we carry. Maturity is early-medium and plant height is tall. CDC Redberry has a disease package with good resistance to Ascochyta blight as well as Anthracnose Race 1. Trial performance (often out-yields Richlea, the most popular medium-size green), harvest ease, and market demand easily make CDC Redberry one of the most popular varieties available today.
