This is a very high quality, high tonnage product. Because of the high inclusion rate of EverLeaf 126, this is a very management-responsive (i.e. to seeding rates, fertility (esp. N), and available moisture) product that can maximize returns on your supplemental forage investment. We have repeatedly tested this blend in Carrington and Wilton, ND and it has consistently performed well at both locations. Because of Everleaf 126’s late maturity, this blend is probably better suited for silage than for hay (haying requires harvest when the pea is flat-podded; 126 will usually be fairly immature at that time). Allowing 126 to reach the boot to soft dough stage while the pea pods show significant swelling before ensiling will provide an optimal balance of both tonnage and forage quality
