Byron is Pulse USA 's General Manager. Byron has held many board positions with various farm organizations including past President of the North Dakota Dry Pea and Lentil Association. Byron was awarded the 2006 Producer Excellence Award from the NDDPLA and was also recognized in 2006 for his contributions and dedications to the North Dakota pulse industry by his peers. Byron currently owns a portable grain cleaning business in the Devils Lake area as well as a farm in the Churchs Ferry area which he rents to local farm operators. Byron and wife, Terri, reside north of Bismarck and have two sons.
Renae Larson is the Pulse USA Business Manager. She joined our team in November of 2002 - less than 2 months after the company's inception. Renae has a degree in accounting with more than 16 years of experience. Renae had no agricultural experience prior to working with our company, but that has not inhibited her. She enjoys the unique challenges presented to her and seeks the opportunity to gain continuous knowledge from Pulse USA's customers and suppliers. Renae is married to Lance and they have one son, Alec.
Candy began her position as Business Assistant at Pulse USA in January of 2006. Candy brings more than 30 years of administrative experience to her job. Candy's experience in the agricultural industry is limited to growing up on a farm near Bismarck but she will learn through our company. Some family members continue to farm that area. Candy and her husband reside in Bismarck. They have three children. Candy sells Pampered Chef in her free time and is active in the St. Mary's Central High School Music Parents Association and Homemaker's Group. In addition, she and her husband have much fun playing pinochle with several other couples.
Brad Meckle - Product Representative Western Territory
Brad Meckle is our Pulse USA Eastern Product Representative. His employment began on November 27, 2007. Brad is a North Dakota native who resides in Center with his wife and two children. Brad brings to Pulse USA agricultural knowledge stemming from his childhood on the family farm. He attended college in Bismarck and Dickinson and holds a degree Farm and Ranch Management/Ag Sales and Service. Brad's professional career found him working with many area farmers while employed as a Pesticide Inspector for the ND Ag Dept. Bryan Schatz joined our Pulse USA family as or Eastern Product Representative in May of 2009. Bryan 's career as a former elevator station manager in both ND and SD has given him a chance to work with many area farmers and ranchers. Bryan is a ND native who commutes to Bismarck daily from the family farm North of Linton on which he resides with his wife, Nadine, and four children.
Mike Strand has been Pulse USA 's Warehouse Manager since August 2009; he is the first to hold this new position with our company. Mike is a Bismarck native who resides with his wife and daughter. He comes to Pulse USA with a transportation and manufacturing background. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, motorcycling and spending time with his family.
