Clif is Board President. Clif has been active for more than 10 years on the North Dakota Pulse Growers Assoc. board. Clif is a member of the Souris River Joint Water Resources Board and the Bottineau County Water Resource Board. Clif farms in Newburg with his brother, Tom. Clif and his wife, Gwen, have 6 children, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Jerry is Board Secretary. Jerry was once president of the ManDak Zero Till
Assoc. Jerry was honored as Zero Till Farmer of the year and has won
numerous conservation awards. Jerry and his wife, Rita, reside in
Coleharbor and they have four children.

Duane Pool - Associate Member

Duane B. Pool performed his undergraduate studies at Mesa State College and Colorado State University in Economics. His Masters was in Economics, with fields in Public Economics, Natural Resource and Environmental Economics, and Econometrics. He completed his Doctorate at CSU in Forest, Rangeland and Watershed Stewardship. He is a recognized leader in academia and is a frequently invited speaker on topics relating to strategic planning, landscape modeling, economics and management. He is currently an external board member for Microvest Inc. He is also very active in his community through volunteerism and he has served on local non-profit boards. He is currently an Affiliate Faculty at Colorado State University and the Science Coordinator for the Northern Great Plains Joint Venture.

Lance Gaebe serves as a deputy chief of staff and policy advisor for North Dakota Governor John Hoeven.

On behalf of the Governor, Gaebe works on agriculture, water, renewable energy, public land, parks and transportation issues.

Prior to joining the Hoeven administration in 2001, Gaebe was executive director of the state's Agricultural Products Utilization Commission, where he was responsible for administering the state's value-added agriculture business grant and ethanol incentive program and its $4.5 million budget.

Previously, Gaebe was the executive officer for several commodity groups, including the North Dakota Grain Growers Association, the North Dakota Ag Foundation, the North Dakota Buffalo Association, and the North Dakota Ag Coalition.

Gaebe grew up on a dairy farm in New Salem, ND, and he earned both a degree in agriculture and a Masters of Business Administration from North Dakota State University. He, his wife Terryl and their two young daughters, live in Mandan and they have a small wheat and soybean farm in Nielsville, MN.
